The recent announcement by the Shandong Provincial Development and Reform Commission has marked a significant achievement for Yantai Zhimei Chemical Technology Co., Ltd. Our annual production of 30,000 tons of bromine has been successfully included in the list of key projects for the construction of a strong marine province.

The project by Zhimei Chemical involves the extraction of industrial bromine using imported raw materials such as solid sodium bromide, hydrobromic acid, and zinc bromide solution. With a total investment of 240 million yuan, the project covers an area of 60 acres and is planned to have a construction area of 13,000 square meters. Upon reaching full production capacity, the project aims to yield 30,000 tons of bromine annually along with 25,000 tons of dilute hydrochloric acid.

Being recognized as a key project, Yantai Zhimei will shoulder greater responsibilities and missions. Their focus will not only be on achieving their own development goals but also on actively contributing to the high-quality development of the province's marine economy.
